- Radon is located at the bottom of the list of noble gasses in Group 0 of
- the periodic chart. Studies of this gas show that it fits the general mold
- for the so-called "inert" gasses.
- Radon gas liquifies easily and changes to its solid state at just -71
- degrees. As a solid, it glows with yellow light that turns red-orange as
- the temperature is lowered further.
- The only confirmed compound of radon is radon fluoride, RnF.
